Terms of Use

Last updated: August 11, 2026

These terms cover your use of Snug, a macOS application made by High5 Labs ("we," "us"). By downloading or using Snug, you agree to them.

Your license

When you buy Snug, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the version you purchased on the Macs you own or control. Your license includes free updates within that major version. A license key is issued per purchase; please don't share it publicly or resell it.

Free trial

Snug offers a 14-day free trial so you can decide before you pay. When the trial ends, Snug keeps your menu bar safe and visible; it never hides your items behind a paywall or leaves them stranded off-screen.

Refunds

If Snug isn't right for you, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your purchase. Refunds are processed by our reseller, Paddle, the merchant of record for your order. Email hello@snug.menu and we'll help.

Acceptable use

Please don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, or attempt to circumvent Snug's licensing, and don't use Snug to violate anyone's rights or the law. We may suspend a license used in these ways.

What Snug does and doesn't do

Snug arranges menu bar items using macOS's Accessibility APIs. Because Apple can change how the menu bar works between macOS releases, some behaviors may need updates to keep working. We aim to keep Snug compatible, but we can't guarantee every feature works identically across every future macOS version.

No warranty

Snug is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk. Snug does not delete or move your items off-screen permanently; it degrades to showing everything if something goes wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, High5 Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Snug. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Changes

We may update these terms; the updated date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of Snug after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
